The Multistate NP

Accessibility

Last updated October 4, 2026

Our goal

The Multistate NP aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The site has not had a formal third-party audit, so we do not claim full conformance. Changes are checked with keyboard navigation, automated accessibility tests and phone-width layouts.

What to expect

Every page offers a skip link to the main content and a consistent navigation order. Interactive tools work with a keyboard and show a visible focus indicator. Comparison tables keep their row and column headers, and state data is available as text, not only as map colour.

Known limitations

Some linked board, statute and continuing-education provider websites are outside our control and may not be accessible. Scanned documents you upload to My Workspace are read as images and may not be available to a screen reader unless text can be extracted.

Report a barrier

If something on the site is hard to use with your browser, device or assistive technology, email hello@themultistatenp.com or use the contact form. Include the page address and what happened.
