Shipping Policy

This policy applies to physical books ordered directly from The Multistate NP.
Current status
The site does not ship orders yet. Copies bought from another retailer are shipped under that retailer’s policy, and delivery questions go to them.

Shown before you pay
Checkout will show whether we ship to your address, the shipping options and their cost, any taxes, and an estimated delivery time before you pay. We will not charge shipping that was not shown at checkout. If checkout does not accept your country, we do not currently ship there.
Estimates, not guarantees
Processing and delivery times are estimates. Carrier delays, weather, holidays and other events outside our control can make an order late; we will help you follow up with the carrier.
Preorders and backorders
If a book is offered before its publication date or while it is out of stock, the product page and checkout will say so and give the expected ship date. If that date moves significantly, we will email you and you may cancel for a refund of anything you paid for that item.
Your shipping address
Check your address before you pay. If it needs correcting, email hello@themultistatenp.com straight away; we will update it if the order has not shipped. If the carrier returns a package as undeliverable, we will contact you to arrange reshipment or a refund of the item.
Lost, late or damaged orders
If an order has not arrived after the estimated delivery time, or arrives damaged, email hello@themultistatenp.com with your order number (and a photo of any damage). We will work with the carrier and, if the order is lost or damaged, send a replacement or a refund. See the Refund and Return Policy.
International orders
If we offer shipping outside the United States, checkout will say whether customs duties and import taxes are included or will be collected on delivery.
Digital products
Digital products are not shipped. They are delivered online, by download or by access on your account, as stated on the product page and in the Digital Product Terms.
