Digital Product Terms

What these terms cover

These terms apply to digital products from Ingram Solutions, LLC: currently the Documentation Library that accompanies The Urgent Care Documentation Guide, and any digital edition, download or online resource we sell or include with a book later. They add to the Terms of Use.

Your license

Digital purchases are licensed, not sold, for the purchaser’s individual use. When you have access, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product for your own professional work and study. Ingram Solutions, LLC, or the rights holder, keeps the copyright. Except where we expressly permit it in writing, you may not reproduce, share, upload, redistribute, republish, sublicense or resell a digital product.

What you may do

• Read and search the product while signed in to your own account.
• Adapt documentation phrases and templates into your own clinical notes, provided every note accurately reflects the encounter you are documenting.

What you may not do

• Copy, reproduce or republish the product or substantial parts of it.
• Share, upload, post, sell, sublicense or redistribute it, including to shared drives, file-sharing services, code or document repositories, course-management systems, websites or social media.
• Distribute adapted or derivative versions of it, or reproduce it commercially.
• Share your account or sign-in, or let anyone else use your access.
• Load it into shared EHR templates or smart phrases, or distribute it within a clinic, group or organization, without a separate written license.
• Scrape, bulk-export or systematically download it, or use it to build a competing product or to train or prompt an AI model or dataset.
• Remove copyright or attribution notices.

Rights the law gives you

These terms do not restrict uses the law allows without permission, such as fair use, or any right that cannot be waived.

Physical books are different

If you buy a printed book, you own that copy and may keep, lend, give away or resell it. These terms limit copying and distributing the content, not your ownership of a physical copy. Any digital access included with a print copy is covered by these terms.

Formats, devices and downloads

The format of each digital product (for example online access, PDF or EPUB) and any device or software needed to use it will be stated on the product page before you buy. Online products are used by signing in to your account. If a product is delivered as a download, keep your own copy; if you lose it or cannot open it, email hello@themultistatenp.com and we will help restore access where we can.

How access works

Access is tied to one account. For the Documentation Library, access is included with an eligible individual print copy of The Urgent Care Documentation Guide and is enabled on your account once eligibility is confirmed; scanning a QR code or knowing a Phrase ID does not grant access by itself. Activation for print buyers is not open yet.

If access is time-limited, the period will be stated before purchase or activation.

Group and clinic licenses

To use the product across a clinic, group or organization, ask about a group license through the contact form. A group license is set out in a separate written agreement.

Updates and availability

We may correct, update or reorganize digital content. If we discontinue a paid digital product, we will give reasonable notice where practical. Access depends on the site being available; see the Terms of Use.

Clinical use

Templates are documentation aids, not clinical guidance, and must be individualized to the actual patient. See the Medical, Educational and Licensure Disclaimer.

Ending access

We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, for example by sharing an account or redistributing content, and we may take other steps the law allows to stop unauthorized distribution. Refunds for digital products are covered by the Refund and Return Policy.
